Daniela Helton is the dynamic youth leader of North Chevy Chase Christian Church.  Whether it's discussing contemporary issues from hit films, going on service projects, or leading youth retreats, Daniela is always seeking to bring out the best in her students.  She has led the group for 10 years, and has been a part of the church community since she was 5 years old.  For her, the church is a second home.  She says, "I feel comfortable and welcomed at church when I walk through the doors and that is what I want for the youth and their families to feel as well.  I am also an elementary school counselor in Montomgery County and the mother of two boys.  I surround myself with children every day of the week so I can help to influence them but most importantly to learn from them."  Daniela's family is from Bolivia and she speaks both Spanish and English.  She loves traveling (especially to Bolivia), food, art, history, and meeting new people.
