What do we believe?
We believe that Jesus is the Christ, son of the living God and Savior of the world. We
recognize that each of us is on our own spiritual journey. All are free to come to their
own understanding of faith and also be part of a spiritual Christian community.
The origins of North Chevy Chase Christian Church can be traced back to 1916
when a group of Disciples organized the Columbia Heights Christian Church. In
1958, the Church moved to its locale on Kensington Parkway and formally
changed its name to North Chevy Chase Christian Church. We are a church with
a commitment to our traditions, practicing hospitality and embracing diversity.
