North Chevy Chase offers an exciting, and growing, number of opportunities for families, kids, married couples, grandparents, singles, and single parents to grow in their faith...and have fun meeting new people!  There's something for everyone at North Chevy Chase because we plan events and classes to meet the needs of Montgomery County's diverse population.  There are two important facets of family life ministries. 

First, the church offers a number of children's and youth classes during the 11AM worship hour.  In October, 2011 we started a new, Montessori-based class for children between 1st and 3rd grades.  We also have a nursery program, a toddler class, and middle school/high school youth group discussion.  Both kid's and adults love the snacks and cookies in the fellowship hour. 

Second, we are developing a year-round schedule of inter-generational "Family Fun Events" where every age group in our church and neighborhood can enjoy themselves in a fun, casual environment.  In February we have a spaghetti and bingo night that draws a big crowd.  In late October, our Fall Festival in late October is a big hit, featuring food, bouncy castles, crafts and live music.  The whole community is invited to this fun event after our regular service.  We also plan inter-generational service projects that are making a positive difference in our community.  So no matter what your family looks like, whether you are single or a parent, we invite you, your family, and your friends to experience the fun of the family ministries program at North Chevy Chase!
