


| During her years at First Christian Church, Jefferson City, Missouri, Cheryl served three terms as the first female Protestant Chaplain in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was also a founding member of C.U.R.E. (Christians United for Racial Equity), a member and former chair of the Memorial Hospital Board of Governors and a member of the hospital Bio-Ethics Committee. After leaving Missouri, Cheryl moved to Virginia to serve Strasburg Christian Church and Laurel Hill Christian Church, and then moved to National City Christian Church, Washington, DC, where she was employed as Business Administrator. She has also served interim ministries at First Christian Church, Falls Church, VA, Bethesda United Church of Christ, Bethesda, MD, and Palisades Community Church in Washington, DC. Since coming to North Chevy Chase Christian Church, Cheryl has been actively involved in the Chevy Chase-Kensington Ministerium and is now serving a term as a Public Trustee with the Washington Theological Consortium. |
