WORSHIP
Join us for Sunday Worship
Sunday School @ 9:45am
Service @ 11am
Coffee Hour Following Worship
Our worship is loosely traditional. Music is a core element of our worship service. We sing the hymns of our heritage, but we also embrace diverse genres of musical offerings, ranging from jazz to classical, modern to Taize. We use both piano and organ to accompany congregational hymns and other choral offerings; our choir sings two Sundays a month.
As members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), communion is the centerpiece of our worship and is celebrated weekly. We practice an open table. So, if you feel led to participate, you are welcome. If you prefer not to, that is welcome too.
After worship, be sure to join us for fellowship time--with coffee, sweets, and savories. this is a wonderful time to create community and deepen relationships.
Children's Church
We love kids at NC4! Your children are more than welcome to stay with you in worship (including crying babies!) If you would like, you and your children are invited to use the Children's Table at the back of the sanctuary where your child can make crafts, color, or read a book.
However, we also know parents sometimes need a break and want to have their own worship time. Just down the hallway from our worship area is a nursery attendant who would be happy to give loving care to your children, from infants up to children in 2nd grade.
Balloon Art for Kids
Created by our resident artist, Agnes Bikie
Once a month our local artist, Agnes Bikie will engage our children's creativity by teaching and creating balloon art with and for the kids. She also creates original large pieces for main events held at the church.
