I'm New!

Visiting a new church can be both exciting and intimidating. We are glad you have decided to come check us out!

In order to be ready for your visit, below are answers to some of our most asked questions about what to expect. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any additional questions.

  • When is your worship service?
Our worship service begins at 11:00 A.M. on Sundays and lasts about an hour with a concurrent multi-age class for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade.  A nursery is available for infants through Pre-Kindergarten. Hearing assistance devices are available.
  • What do you do in worship?
Our service includes music, scripture, prayer, a message, and communion. You will be given a program to follow along with the service. Music is a core element of our worship service. Our music is considered traditional in that we sing the hymns of our heritage, but we also embrace diverse genres of musical offerings, ranging from jazz to classical, modern to Taize. We use both piano and organ to accompany congregational hymns and other choral offerings; our choir sings two Sundays a month. After worship, you are invited to join us for Fellowship time--with coffee, sweets, and savories-- as we greet and chat with one another.
  • What should I wear to church?
It’s up to you. Some of our folks wear business attire, others wear jeans and casual shirts and sweaters. We welcome you as you come!
  • Will we be recognized as visitors?
No. We are glad you are here and are excited to meet you but we understand the sensitivities around being recognized. You may use a form found in your pew to indicate your visit with us, but you will not be singled out in worship.
  • What if we are not Christians?
As a Christian community, we are open to the insights and wisdom of others from all traditions and backgrounds. You are welcome to add your thoughts to ours or to ask questions of us.
  • Are children welcome?
YES! We welcome children! Your children may stay with you in worship (including crying babies!). You and your children are invited to use the Children's Table at the back of the sanctuary where your child can make crafts, color, or read a book. Just down the hallway from our worship area is a nursery attendant who would be happy to give loving care to your children, from infants up to children in 2nd grade.
  • Is your building accessible?
Tthe building and sanctuary level are accessible from the parking lot via an elevator. Signs mark the entrance to the elevator and floor access is indicated inside the elevator. There is handicap parking in both the lot and in front of the church (3 spaces in the semi-circular drive). There is an ADA restroom on the sanctuary level in the office hallway.
  • Where do I park?
There is ample parking in our lot directly behind the church
