Who We Are
North Chevy Chase Christian Church (NC4) is a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We are an openly affirming, multi-generational, multi-cultural congregation — passionate about music and the arts, nourished by community (usually around food), and committed to creation care, outreach, and justice for those pushed to the margins.
As part of our growing ministry, NC4 is seeking to build a dynamic, life-giving family ministry — one where every child and young person is known by name, rooted in the love ethic of Jesus, surrounded by community, and where parents are equipped, supported, and never left to navigate the journey alone. We believe the church has a vital role in shaping the next generation, and this new position reflects that conviction.
The Family Life Coordinator will bring this vision to life: a program where identity is affirmed, spirits are nourished, relationships are deepened, parents are supported and the love of God is taught in ways that are joyful, relevant, and enduring.
