Social Justice

The Church provides opportunities to become involved in social justice issues so that we may be agents of wholeness in a fragmented world. Activities include monthly after-service meetings and prayer circle and quarterly film and discussion events, as well as ad-hoc opportunities and events. For example, we showed the documentary Incarcerating US followed by a panel discussion featuring Eric E. Sterling, the executive director of The Criminal Justice Policy Foundation, Eddie B. Ellis, Jr, the founder of One by 1, Inc., a non-profit focused on re-entry, and Angela Holliday Hansen a local attorney active in social justice issues.
